La Roche-Posay: Effaclar Duo +

Woah there, stop right now, this isn't a review, just something of a public service announcement if you will

No, this isn't a review, but today I picked up the La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + after reading like a bazillion reviews that all said how amazing it is.  I ordered after spotting the Boots offer online, and today my friends I went down to ymy local boots to pick this bad boy up.

I'm very excited to use this especially given the current state of my skin.  Regular Fragile Bird readers will know that I like to have a little moan about my skin every now and again, what with it being extremely far from perfect; but recently it's decided to go all kinds of nasty with some lovely little spots all bubbling up nicely under the surface with a head liner of a yellowing shiny red spot right smack bang in the middle of my cheek which quite frankly hurts like hell.  Right this minute I can feel the little devil getting bigger and bigger!  Spots ey, for such tiny little things it's surprising just how much difference they can make to your mood and appearance, arrrghhhhh!

So after seeing so very many reviews saying just how good this stuff is I thought I would give it a whirl, and after seeing the sticker on the front of the packaging I am feeling very good about this one.

As you can see, if it doesn't work it's money back, they must be pretty confident in their product, the offer states (for those interested in joining me on my road to clear skin):

"Offer available until 15th August 2014.  Valid on purchases made between 10th February 2014 and 31st May2014. UK & ROI residents aged 18+.  For refund, keep pack and sales reciept and register online at www.effaclar.co.uk 1 week before refund request.  Internet access required.  1 refund per person, per household.  Brief explanation required.  Minimum 15 words."

So there you have it, I will update you in due course with documented pictures and everything.. oh god, the shame of it.  Let me know if you too will be trying this product, we can be like Effaclar Duo buddies or something!

You can buy this product from Boots here!

p.s. I edit all my pics with PicMonkey.

Stay Sexy,

  1. I've heard a lot about this, some bloggers say it works wonders for them and others have been really underwhelmed so I've been in two minds about trying it... but if they're offering to give your money back if it doesn't do anything, may as well give it a go! x

  7. This stuff is the bee's knees! its absolutely amazing. I use to get a few spots every now and again but this keeps them at bay and leaves your skin feeling super soft! I'm considering buying their cleansers too.
Hope it works just as well for you!
