Shake it down with me, shake down”
This post’s TUNE comes from Electrocute. So I’ve realised whilst compiling a list of songs to use for my outfit posts that quite a lot of them have very dodgy sounding titles (and more often than not dodgier lyrics) and some of them are so rude I can’t even use them, even if they are really good songs. Now I don’t know what this says about me, I certainly don’t go looking for this kind of smut haha, however, it does appear that some of the catchiest songs are about some very iffy topics indeed. All of which brings me on to this little tune, yes it’s one of the dodgy ones, but it’s a good one none the less, and quite frankly it might even be quite innocent as I have no idea what they are on about.
So listen to the song here and check out the website here.
Bang bang...
Skirt: Internacionale (old)
Blouse: Primark (£10.00)
Tights: Primark (£2.50)
Brogues: New Look (old)
Cambridge Satchel: Christmas Prezzie
Cardigan: Tesco (old)
Chain: BeeJewels*
This is the final item left of my sale buys from Internacionale, it has remained unworn in my wardrobe until now. When I went to put it on I noticed a bit of a weird lump on the side of me. Don’t panic here people, the lump was not attached to me, it was the security tag which had not been removed! How did I make it through the day walking around with a tagged piece of clothing when I originally bought this skirt. So obviously I had a bit of a dilemma on my hands as I couldn’t take it back into the shop as I bought it so long ago the receipt was now in paper heaven, so I had to put some recently acquired DIY skills to use.
Fortunately my boyfriend is a bit of a handy man and has a toolbox full of everything you need, and in this case I need a hacksaw. So I sat there in our bedroom sawing away at a security tag which took alot longer than I thought it would, those darn security tags were built to last. However, after 10 minutes of me vs the security tag, I won! And so I managed to wear my lovely new skirt with this outfit.
I added my lovely new navy polka dot blouse from my beloved Primark, my lovely chain gifted to me by BeeJewels, and my beautiful, over worn brogues. I think my poor brogues have suffered quite alot recently so I need to polish them so they get back to looking half decent and not like they are going to fall apart at the seams through overuse.
Finally, I wore this with my Cambridge satchel, and my old Tesco cardi which I think looks a bit like a jacket, and therefore I wore it as such.
Yup, there you go, I think this is my office secretary look, although I wouldn’t waste this beautiful outfit on just going to work.
p.s. I also took a few snaps with my lovely new glasses as gifted to me by Firmoo, this is just one of them. You can check out my review on these specs here.
See ya soon,
This is such a great outfit, too gorgeous for work, you're right. I love everything about it, the cardi is lovely. I always forget you can always find something nice in Tesco, must go in there more often on my lunch breaks, haha.
