Here Comes your Man

“Outside there’s a box car waiting,
Outside the family stew...”

This post’s TUNE comes from the Pixies.  When I was younger I used to live and breathe MTV2 (is it still going?!?!) and this was always one of those tunes that they used to play because they were so cool.  The Pixies are somewhat legendary; they are just one of those bands that if you mention you like them, it gives you instant cool.  I don’t know if this has worked for me mind, but hey, give it a try, you might want to check out their video here first and have a little look at their website here.

Onto the clothes...

Top: Primark (£6.00)
Jeans: New Look (old)
Trainers: Primark (£8.00)
Gola Bag: Old
Watch: Casio
Coat: Next (old)

Last week I went to see Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, don't know if you have ever heard of them, but I'm sure at some point I'll have them as my post tune in a desperate bid to introduce you to their genius music.  They were amazing as usual, their shows are something else, and it's always nice to see an artist actually talk to the audience instead of just talk at them, it's the beauty of little gigs.  Anywho, there is a point to this little bit of information, this is infact what I wore to that gig, there you go happy days, lets carry on shall we!

Anywho, I'm loving the whole 'I know, lets stick a pair of trainers on with a nice coat' look, it's right up my street, and I have decided to jump on the band wagon.  Now, I would love a good old pair of Nike's or something, I will be investing in a pair shortly but until then these little looky likey ones from Primark are doing the trick nicely.  Not only do they look damn good, are nicely priced at a bargain eight pounds, but are also sooo comfy, could you ask for more?

I've paired my trainers with my sheeeiiiiny black jeans from new look, my newly bought black and white collared top from primark, my lovely Next coat and my boyfriends Gola messenger bag.  Overall it's most definitely quite dark look, but I have tried to spice it up with a bit of colour on my face, otherwise known as makeup.

As an aside, I visited Bristol on the weekend and discovered Pull and Bear, I think I'm in love.  Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, let me know what you've been up to and any thoughts on the old outfit would be much appreciated!

p.s. I edit all my pics with PicMonkey.

Stay Cool,
